The Best Christmas Decorations
Christmas is my favorite time of year. Usually, a week before Thanksgiving I start to decorate the house. I try and wait until after Thanksgiving, but I never can. I am just too excited.
Our Tree
Our Tree is 9 feet tall and has lights already on the tree. The lights can be colored or white. You can also have it set to change colors. Ours is set to change from colors to white. It is beautiful. This year I added some lighted garland around some of the doors and windows.
Eat in kitchen
I added lighted garland to the windows this year. I think it makes it more festive. That little tree was my mothers. My son put some ornaments and Christmas lights on it.
Fireplace
I always put up our 4 stockings and lighted garland. I added the Grinch lights (my daughter is obsessed with the Grinch) and the lighted presents this year. My father bought me the lanterns last year.
Table Decor
I have an obsession with Christmas stuffed animals. The majority of these turn on and sing or make noise. I added the gingerbread men this year (from hobby lobby)
Front Door
I added the lighted garland to the front door this year. The nutcracker and the Santa Claus’s were my mothers.
Dining Room
In the picture I was having a Christmas party later that day. The lace tablecloth was my mothers, it is very sentimental. The glass Christmas figures were my mother’s also. She always had them out around Christmas time.
