When I made this recipe, I forgot to spray the pot with non-stick spray and it stuck to the bottom of the pot. Definitely spray the pot! After I made it, I measured it out into 6 individual containers and placed in fridge. In the morning when I heated it up, I added some extra almond milk (about 1/4 cup of almond milk), the pure maple syrup and some pecans. I also added a sprinkle of coconut sugar and it was very tasty. When I cooked it I only put in for about 5 hours. It was done by then.
