Sex/Life season 2 follows season one. In season one, Billie is married to Cooper but can’t stop thinking about her ex bad boy Brad. She runs into him and the feelings come crashing down on her. He starts calling her and texting her. She writes about her feelings in a journal; which her husband reads. He realizes that his wife is still in love with her ex. At the end of the season, Billie and Cooper are trying to work things out.

Billie is at her son’s play with Cooper and she realizes that “this is not enough”. She leaves and goes running to Brad’s apartment. When the door opens she says this doesn’t change anything but f**k me now.

Brad and Billie

Billie and Brad start kissing and he pulls away and says that he loved her and he proposed to her but she turned him down. He said he has been trying to get over her and that he has a girlfriend named Gigi and she is pregnant with his child. Billie looks crushed.

Billie and Cooper

Cooper and Billie are going through a bitter divorce. Billie starts dating Majid, a restaurant owner. At the court after their divorce is final, Devon picks Cooper up and they go have some fun. Cooper winds up arrested after crashing a car while driving drunk and under the influence of drugs. Billie bails him out and brings him back to their house where he tells her that he loves her and misses their family. He tells her she doesn’t feel the same. She gives him a hug and he says that “you are the love of my life but I’m not yours”.

Brad and Gigi get married

Billie runs into Brad and Gigi at Majid’s restaurant. Sasha warns her that Brad and Gigi are now married. She sees the couple and congratulations them on their engagement. But she is clearly upset and so is Brad. She starts to cry and says she’s happy for him but that she can’t handle this and runs away. Gigi saw the chemistry between her husband and his ex.

Brad’s company gets sued for stealing from clients. Billie reaches out to check on him. He says for her to come up to the loft. They talk and he reaches for her hand and goes to kiss her. She pulls away and says that they shouldn’t be doing this. He is married and having a baby. He can’t stop having fantasizes about Billie, even though he is with Gigi.

Billie and Majid

Billie starts to get serious with Majid. She introduces him to her kids. At the park they run into Brad who is holding his newborn son (Gigi is not present). Billie asks about Gigi and he responds with “she loves her son”. Which I thought was a strange answer. Majid offers to take Hudson to a baseball game to bond with him. Billie agrees. While on the way to the game he gets called into work. He goes to the restaurant and brings Hudson with him. There is a fire in the kitchen and yells at Hudson and puts him outside and tells him not to move.

Hudson runs away. When Billie gets to the restaurant Cooper is there and she is upset that Majid hadn’t called her. She sees Brad in the street in front of the restaurant and he offers to help look for Hudson. Brad says where might he go. She says she doesn’t know he was only here once. Brad remembers that Hudson loved the bubble show in the park when he ran into them the other day.

They run to the park and find Hudson there. They bring him back to the restaurant and Cooper is happy that he is found and thanks Brad for his help. Cooper sees the chemistry between Billie and Brad. Billie breaks up with Majid.

Cooper gets engaged

Cooper and Billie are finally in a good place. He starts dating his ex girlfriend (the plain Jane one).He tells Billie that he is going to propose to her. Billie is happy for him.

Billie attends her best friends wedding

She attends Sasha’s wedding and after her speech, she looks up and sees Brad. Her face lights up. She asks him what he is doing there. He said to sweep you off your feet. She looks confused and asked where Gigi was. He says she left a while ago and is with someone else.

He says one of my favorite lines: ” she knew I couldn’t be her’s completely since I never stopped being yours”. They kiss.

The next scene is Billie and Brad’s wedding. When she walks up to the alter, she whispers to him that she she is pregnant. He starts smiling.

I absolutely loved this season and the ending was just perfect.
