My Top 10 Travel Bucketlist
My Top 10 Travel Bucketlist
I try and travel at least once a year. Last year was Disney World in Orlando, Florida. I have been to Bermuda, Bahamas, Hawaii, Tennesse, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi and Georgia. There are so many places I have not traveled yet. These places I have added to my bucketlist. I would love to try and go to at least once place a year.
Disneyland, California
Disneyland was Walt Disney’s first them park and it opened in 1955. It is situated on 500 acres and has 2 parks: Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. There are about 50 rides between the 2 parks. There are 3 hotels on the property: Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa and Disney’s Paradise Pier Resort. We have been to Disney World in Orlando, Florida a few times but Disneyland is definitely on my bucketlist.
Overwater Bungalow, Maldives
I want to have the ultimate experience staying in an overwater bungalow in Bora Bora. You are suspended over a crystal blue lagoon with breathtaking views and direct access to the water. If you have even seen the movie Couples Retreat, this is where it was filmed.
Key West, Florida
Key West is known for its activities on the water such as: dolphin encounters, kayaking, diving, snorkeling or renting a boat to explore on your own. On land there are shops, museums, art galleries, tours, and theaters. You can also just relax on the beautiful beaches or by the pools at the hotels.
Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
Pigeon Forge has a lot of things to do for all ages. They have miniature golf and go carts. If you like the outdoors, you could go on an adventure in the smokey mountains or stroll through the city park. If you love adventures, you could try Rip Roaring Rapids or rent a UTV. I have always wanted to go and stay in a cabin. Some of the cabins have pools, hot tubs and games.
Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany
The castle is a 19th-century historic palace on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau in Bavaria, Germany. It is known as the castle of Paradox and was built at a time when castles were no longer necessary as strongholds. It has all the newest technological comforts.
Italy
I have always wanted to travel to Italy and visit the beautiful areas, learn about the ancient cultures and savour the most loved cuisine in the world.
Paris, France
Nowhere else does your heart swoon like when you hear the word, Paris. The city has magnificent art, architecture, culture and cuisine. There are areas to be explored such as quaint cobbled lanes, cozy little bistros and sweet patisseries. I want to visit the Eiffel Tower. My Top 10 Travel Bucketlist.
Aruba
Aruba is a beautiful island in the Caribbean. It has the least amount of rainfall in the southern Caribbean. With the winds, it stays about 82 degrees year-round. One of the best attractions in Aruba is the gorgeous beaches. There are popular sights and places to visit while in Aruba such as, museums, lighthouse, churches, dive sights, ruins and Oranjestad.
Santorini, Greece
Today Santorini consists of two inhabited islands and several islets. In 1650 BC the island was one big island and a massive volcano erupted forcing the center of the island to be separated. Most visitors spend their time on Thira, which is home to the many towns, and it is the biggest island. Santorini has colorful beaches; black and red sands make for a memorable visit. Hike to Ancient Thera to see the ruins of three empires and the Romans. Greece is definitely on my travel bucketlist.
Alaska
What do you think about when think of Alaska? Maybe the highest mountains or the Arctic Tundra. The rainforest or the deep blue rivers, deep oceans, tranquil lakes and ancient glaciers. Alaska is a land of superlatives and adventures. You can explore five different regions with varied travel routes.
