Synopsis
Lily and her ex-husband, Ryle, have just settled into a civil coparenting rhythm. Then she suddenly bumps into her first love, Atlas. After nearly two years separated, she is very happy and she immediately says yes when Atlas asks her on a date. But her excitement quickly changes when she realizes that Ryle will always be a part of her life. He will never be okay with her dating Atlas, since he blames Atlas for their divorce.
This book picks up where the first book ended. It switches back and forth from Lily’s and Atlas’s perspective and reveals more about Atlas’s past. It follows Lily’s second chance at love while dealing with a jealous ex husband. We get to see Lily and Atlas as an unit and we get to see them really fall in love with their love.
My Review
I loved this 2 book series. This book alternates between Atlas and Lily’s point of view. It navigates through Lily and Atlas’s life trying to start a life together after the divorce and an abusive relationship. Lily struggles with trying to respect her ex-husband and the father of her child, Ryle, and his position in her life. Also her wanting to move on in her love life with Atlas. She never fully got over Atlas and now that he is back in her life; she wants to see if there love is real.
Atlas and Lily love each other like kids do. Their love is sweet and corny. They realize they never got over each other and their love has gotten stronger as they got older. But can their relationship survive all that they have been through?
