Family Vacation to Hilton Head, SC
Hilton Head is the best vacation spot. Hilton Head Island is part of the low country region of in South Carolina. It is known for the Atlantic Ocean Beaches and golf courses. Hilton Head is the best vacation spot. It is always voted top as a place to visit in the US.
Our Villa
We stayed at Xanadu Villas in Hilton Head this past week and we had a blast. Our villa had 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The master had a queen bed with a full bath. The 2nd bedroom had a queen bed and another queen bed with a single bunk on top. It had a kitchen, living room, small eating area and a balcony overlooking the pool. It was perfect for our family. I rented in from Airbnb.
Best Places to Eat
Our favorite places to eat was The Frosty Frog, One Hot Mama’s and Its Greek to Me. Frosty frog has the best daiquiris and the best food. The chicken Caesar wrap is the best. One Hot Mama’s is the best BBQ joint in all of HH. The ribs and chicken are to die for. Its Greek to me had the best gyro and pita bread. While in the car and in the restaurants my kids used their fidget toys especially their pop its (this is from a previous blog)
We spend our mornings at the beach, our afternoons at the pool and evenings walking around the town and trying out the restaurants. The beach was a little crowded; you have to get there early if you want to get a good spot. The water was warm, and the waves were mild. The kids loved making sandcastles. The pool was nice. It had a shallow end and an 8-foot end. It was open until sunset, which was really nice.
They have an awesome park for the kids to play. It is a huge ship with some water sprayers that look like cannons. My kids went there every day and had a blast!!
This is our second year coming to Hilton Head and staying at the Xanadu Villas. We will definitely be coming back next year.
