EdVenture Children’s Museum, SC
Edventure children’s museum is great. We took the kids to the children’s museum for the first time this week. All I can say is…. I can’t believe I didn’t take them sooner. The museum was beautiful and had so many different things for the kids to do. It is located in Columbia, SC. The prices were reasonable, and it even has a yearly membership. They also do field trips, birthday parties and camps.
Areas of Play
My kids loved the Publix supermarket. There were shopping carts and baskets to go grocery shopping. There were tons of food to choose from; from meats, dairy, vegetables to box items like pancake mix and syrup. When you are done with your shopping order there is a check-out counter where all the items are scanned.
There was an area with huge tires that the kids could climb on.
There was a real firetruck that the kids can sit on and wear the equipment (hat and jacket). They can even slide down a real pole. There was even a real firefighter there to talk about fire safety in homes.
My daughter loved the newsroom and there was a screen that looked like you were really on TV.
There was an area where the kid kids could climb a small rock wall, play miniature golf, connect four and battleship.
There was a space area that had a play set with a slide and a plane with seats.
My daughter’s favorite area was the Vet Clinic. They had a table with instruments to examine the animals and an area where the animals are kept. She looked so cute in her vest and hat😉
There was an area where they could play with huge blocks and make crafts.
EdVenture Children’s museum is great. Overall, we had an excellent experience and will definitely be going back. Have you been there before? What was your experience like?
