Dream Catchers
Dream Catchers
Their purpose is to protect sleepers, especially children from bad dreams, nightmares and evil spirits. Native Americans believed that at night the air was filled with dreams, both good and bad. They would hang the dream catcher over their beds. They had to be careful that daylight could reach it.
Theory
Dream catchers are a traditional culture of Native Americans. They believe that dream catcher changes a person’s dreams. Nightmares pass through the holes and out the window. The good dreams are trapped in the web and then slide down the feathers to the sleeping person.

My story
I have had some issues sleeping for the past few months. Due to issues with life. I have been having some bad dreams that wake me up and then I have a hard time going back to sleep. A friend of mine suggested getting a dreamcatcher. I thought it was a crazy idea but figured I would give it a try. This is the moon one right above. It has lights on and it absolutely beautiful. It is hung right over my bed.
I have had it over my bed for the past week and have had no “bad” dreams.
My son
My son suffers from ADHD and sleeping disturbances. This has been going on for years. I decided to purchase a dreamcatcher for him also. He had a bad dream about a week ago and refuses to sleep in his room. His is the blue and brown above. It also has a light. It is hung right over his bed.
My daughter
I purchased a dream catcher for my master bedroom and for my son. I decided I should purchase one for her too.
