Be Our Guest Restaurant
Be Our Guest Restaurant
Be Our Guest Restaurant is a restaurant in Magic Kingdom in Disney World. Before going to Disney I wanted to do one sit down meal (since they are quite expensive). BOG (Be our Guest) had so many mixed reviews I wasn’t sure whether I should book or not. I am so glad I didn’t listen to the reviews and took a chance.
Menu
It was a unique dining experience and I highly recommend it. You get rolls with butter for starters along with your drinks. Here’s the BOG menu:
- Appetizer: You get a choice of French Onion soup, Escargot de Bourgone, Duck and Pork Terrine, Potato Leek soup or Endive and Roquefort cheese salad. My husband and I both got the french onion soup. We both enjoyed the soup.
- Entree: You get a choice of Duroc pork chops, Trout Amandine, Vadouvan-spiced Vegetables, Filet Mignon or Roasted Pulet Rouge Chicken. My husband and I both got the filet mignon. I got it medium rare and it was cooked perfect and tasted delicious.
- Dessert: is a trio; Dark chocolate truffle, lemon jam macaron and chocolate tart (with the grey stuff….which was delicious)
- Kids appetizer: choice of salad, peach applesauce or fruit and cheese platter. my kids both got the salad. They are not much of salad eaters so my husband and I ate it. It was very good.
- Kids entree: Choice of grilled beef tenderloin, macaroni and cheese or chicken breast. My daughter got the chicken breast which was very good. My son got the beef tenderloin which he said was delicious.
- Kids entree sides: choice of 2: string beans, sweet potatoes, wild rice, french fries or zucchini. My daughter got string beans and french fries which were both good. My son got the french fries and sweet potatoes which he enjoyed.
- Kids dessert: trio (same as the adult) except they got a white chocolate cup they could paint and eat (so adorable)
- Pricing: $67 per adult (ages 10 and up), plus tax and gratuity and $39 per child (ages 3-9), plus tax and gratuity
My experience
We were seated in the West Wing. It was quite dark and but my kids enjoyed it. The beast does walk around but he does not stop for pictures. He walked around twice while we were there. My son got a drink that had a light up ice cube that was pretty cool. Our overall experience was great. It was quite expensive for a meal. Total with tip was $280. We will definitely return.
